The technique to detach the self from the body is by understanding and believing that I, the self, am a different entity from the body. I am a soul different from the body. I am a peaceful soul. I am separate from the body.
I use visualisation of the soul as a tiny point of light standing next to stars in the far away sky. I focus on being a tiny point of light. I am like a star in the sky. I stand far away from the body on the earth.
When I succeed concentrating on the tiny point, I reach an awareness of being the point. At that moment, you will find the tremors reducing or stopping. This takes place on its own. Your focus is on being a point.
